The Evolution of Millsbury Media (and What’s Coming Next)

Millsbury Media has always been bigger than one lane.

From the beginning, the vision has been a living creative hub where art, illustration, graphic design, comics, animation, and community can all exist under one roof. The older version of the site was built to do exactly that: document the work in real time, keep everything connected, and make it easy for people to explore the world as it grew.

That’s why I’m rebuilding Millsbury Media now—not because the original version didn’t work, but because the brand is expanding and the website needs to grow with it.

What the original site represents

The old site was the foundation. It was a place where you could see the range—visual design projects, artwork, comic series, updates, and even a store experience that supported the creative ecosystem. It wasn’t just “a portfolio.” It was a creative archive + launchpad, and it helped shape what Millsbury Media is today.

Why the new website is being built

As the catalog grows, the experience needs to be cleaner, faster, and easier to navigate. The new website is designed to make it simpler to:

  • Find specific work without digging

  • Explore each comic series more directly

  • Follow updates without missing important drops

  • Connect for commissions and creative services with less friction

  • Build a stronger store experience that fits the future direction

This rebuild is focused on clarity and longevity—so the site can scale, not just exist.

What stays the same

Even though the look and structure are changing, the heart of Millsbury Media isn’t.

The same creative pillars remain at the center:

  • Art + Illustration

  • Graphic Design

  • Comics + Animation

And the same purpose remains: to create original work, build a connected universe, and keep pushing the craft forward.

Bringing the best of the old into the new

This is important: I’m not abandoning what worked—I’m actively implementing what the original site had into the new website, but in a better, more modern system.

That means you’ll gradually see the old strengths return and level up, including:

  • A clearer “hub” that connects design, art, and comics in one ecosystem

  • A stronger gallery layout for illustration and fine art

  • Dedicated pages that properly represent each comic series and its updates

  • A cleaner blog/update feed so drops feel organized and easy to follow

  • A more intentional store structure that ties merch and releases into the universe

The goal is to keep the original spirit—everything connected—while making the experience feel more streamlined, premium, and future-ready.

What to expect down the line

This new version of Millsbury Media is a build in motion. As the site continues to evolve, you’ll see more features, more organization, and more direct access to the worlds, projects, and products coming next.

If you’ve supported Millsbury Media for a long time, consider the new site the next chapter—built from the same creative DNA, just upgraded to match where the brand is headed.

More drops, more work, more stories—on a platform designed to handle it.
